A spray tan party is a group appointment where one artist tans your whole crew back-to-back at a single location — your home, hotel, venue, or our studio. Sunkiss Studios parties cover up to 8 guests for a flat $950 mobile, with each person getting her own consultation, a custom-blended formula, and about 20 minutes in the tent. The result: a group that photographs beautifully together because nobody is orange, streaky, or mismatched.

Why book an artist instead of a booth crawl?
Send eight friends through a booth and you get eight copies of the same preset — flattering on two of them, orange on the rest, and visible in every group photo for the rest of time. A Sunkiss party works like our custom airbrush tan multiplied: each guest is color-matched from fair to deep, sprayed by hand, and finished with setting powder, so the group reads cohesive while every individual looks like herself on a very good week of vacation.
It's also simply a better party. Nobody drives anywhere, the tent takes one corner of the suite, and the whole crew is done inside a couple of hours — champagne stays cold, robes stay on, and the glow shows up right on schedule the next morning.

How does a spray tan party work?
Pick a date and an address — your home, hotel suite, or our Falls Church studio. Your artist arrives with the pop-up tent and airbrush kit, sets up in one room, and sprays guests one at a time while everyone else keeps the party going. Each guest gets a quick consultation and an individually blended formula; plan on roughly 20 to 25 minutes per person.
How much does a spray tan party cost in the DC area?
A mobile spray tan party is a flat $950 for up to 8 guests at one address anywhere in our DC-metro service area. For two people, the Glow Together studio session is $169 total. Larger groups or split locations are quoted individually — ask when you book and you will have an exact number before anyone commits.
How far in advance should we book a bachelorette spray tan party?
Three to four weeks ahead is comfortable; six or more is smart for peak wedding season (May–June and September–October) and prom season. Evening and weekend-morning slots go first. For a bachelorette, schedule tans for the first night of the weekend so the glow lasts through every dinner, rooftop, and group photo.
Does everyone at the party get the same shade?
No — and that is the difference between a custom party and a booth run. Every guest gets her own consultation and a formula blended for her skin tone, from fair to deep. The group photographs cohesively because each tan is right for its wearer, not because everyone wears the same solution.
When should we tan before the main event?
Spray 1 to 2 days before the wedding, party, or photo day. The color develops over 8 hours (or 2 to 4 with a rapid formula), and a day of buffer means everyone has rinsed, moisturized, and settled into their final shade before the cameras come out. Your artist will map exact rinse times to your event schedule.
